In this digital age, it is common for business projects to have information and communication technology (ICT) as a key enabler to achieve the stated business benefits.
To improve the success rate of delivering ICT-enabled business projects across the Victorian Government, the Project Governance Executive Program is a one-and-half day course to help the Victoria Public Service senior executives build solid understanding of:
- their roles and responsibilities as a project sponsor or a project control board member
- business case review
- risks and benefits management.
The program is designed to uplift ICT-enabled project governance capabilities within the Victoria Public Service in line with the Victorian Government Information Technology Strategy 2016-2020. It also enables participants to share and learn from each other’s project experience.
Feedback on the program has been positive, and over 90 percent of the participants felt the content was pitched at an appropriate level.
